Boys Grades 5 - 8, Girls Grades 5 & 6 Game/Practice Attendance
While there is no official attendance policy for New Providence Recreation youth sports, we ask parents to please:
- Notify your coach when your child will not be at a game or practice– Coaches spend considerable time making game plans and organizing practices. When a player misses a game without notice, much of that work needs to be re-done.
- Make every effort to have your child arrive on-time for games and practices – One of the important lessons learned through participation in youth sports is the responsibility each player has to the team. Help your child show commitment and respect for the coach and other players by having him/her arrive on time and ready to participate.
- Pick up your child promptly at the end of games and/or practices – Although coaches are responsible for their team until the last child is picked up, we ask that you please be considerate of their personal time. Practices are one hour and games usually last 40 – 45 minutes.
