[ARCHIVED] New Providence Finalizes 2025 Summer Paving Schedule; Work Set to Begin July 14

Road improvements road sign

The Borough has finalized the 2025 paving schedule with Tilcon New York Inc.  The paving contractor will be in various areas of the borough for approximately two weeks.  Milling and paving is anticipated to begin on Monday, July 14th.  Residents are asked to have garbage and recycling out the night before their scheduled milling/paving for early pickup ahead of the contractors.  All vehicles must be removed from the area by 6:30 am on milling and paving days.  During milling days, roads will be open once the milling machines have passed.  During paving, there will be no access to streets until the asphalt has cooled.  Vehicles left inside the work zone may not be immediately accessible while they are working on your street.  Please check the borough website at www.newprov.us for updates.
